為講好中國故事，傳播好中國聲音，湖南日報國際傳播中心推出雙語系列視頻《另眼“湘”看》。講述一群在湖南生活的外國人學習、工作、創(chuàng)業(yè)、生活的動人故事，通過他們的視角，向世界展現(xiàn)一個鮮活、多元、真實的湖南。

岳麓書院之光，映照著一位外國學者的赤誠之心。他與中國頗有淵源，深耕中國文化多年，他愿做中外文化的橋梁，讓湖湘智慧跨越國界，與世界共鳴。

本期《另眼“湘”看》將走進岳麓書院，讓我們一起認識一位杰出的外國學者，湖南大學岳麓書院教授、博士生導師，明史專家——戴彼得。

Over mountains, across seas, they assemble in Hunan.

In efforts to convey both China’s stories and China’s voice well, the International Communication Center of Hunan Daily has launched a bilingual video series called “Insights Into Hunan”.This series tells the heartwarming stories of international communities studying, working, starting businesses or living in Hunan, which will present the world a vivid, manifold and real Hunan through their perspectives.

The zeal of an international scholar is adding brilliance to Yuelu Academy. He, with a close relationship with China, has deeply engaged in Chinese culture for many years. He is willing to serve as a bridge between Chinese and foreign cultures to unfold the profound wisdom of Hunan people before foreign eyes and then arouse a deep resonance of foreign minds.

In this episode of “Insights Into Hunan”, we will go into Yuelu Academy to meet a distinguished foreign expert focusing on the history of the Ming Dynasty, Peter Dai, who is meanwhile working as a professor and doctoral supervisor in Yuelu Academy, Hunan University.
